The Boekenhoutskloof Wolftrap 2008 is a very cool red blend from the Franschoek Valley in South Africa. Comprised of 68% Syrah, 30% Mourvedre, and 2% Viognier, this Rhone-inspired red is rich, dense and bordering on full-body characteristics. Loaded with aromas and flavors of blackberries, smoke, black pepper, roasted game, blueberries, tobacco, earth, chocolate and oak. It's a big wine for just under $10, and it's ideal for barbeque ribs or grilled steaks.
